Designed utilizing CAD software Sketchup, Autocad, and Solidworks. Plans are used to obtain materials take-offs for accurately estimating project costs. Lumber is hand-selected for each project to ensure the best quality product. 

marquetry

A 400-year-old art and craft technique that employs thin veneers of various species of wood cut to produce artistic scenes and patterns. The veneer is usually applied to fine furniture, elevating the work to a masterpiece.  

woodturning

‘Umeke la’au (wooden bowl) beautifully designed with curves that mimic shapes perfected by nature. The ‘umeke in Hawaiian culture was reserved for Ali’i. In modern day culture ‘umeke are still valued as family heirlooms passed down into posterity.  

Each flitch, each board, each plank can have only one ideal use. The woodworker, applying a thousand skills, must find that ideal use and then shape the wood to realize its true potential.
